To start, I’d like to say these sound great for the rock/indie/pop music I normally listen to. I like how it’s not just focused on pumping the bass like other headphones. Dynamics in mid ranges and highs are very nice. Among the best, I’ve heard. Also, the microphone is pretty good.
I’m quite frustrated with the fact that this does not turn off consistently. You’re supposed to hold the power button for 1 second and it’s supposed to turn off. This will disconnect the headphones, but many times not turn off. When this happens, there is no auto-off and you can’t turn it off in-app so many times the battery just drains and I have to recharge to get it working again. I can’t believe this made it past QA and this is an issue brought up in quite a few Apple / Beats forum posts.
Also, no track forward / back on the controls. Yes, I should have checked. However, when marketed as a sports headphone it’s just something you assume it’s got.

This isn’t as handy as having integrated proximity sensors like the AirPods, but it’s still useful.
